“About five years ago, I experienced severe burning and pain in my throat that was flagged for pre-cancer by my doctor. After being cleared through testing and given no diagnosis as to the cause, I was told to return in 5 years to recheck it. Recently the painful symptoms returned (accompanied by extremely painful eczema on my hands), and it also triggered a constant sense of deep fear, anger, and anxiety within me.
