Softening into transformation
The Heart of Peace Meditation (~15 min)
Practice details:
Using the hand Mudra shown below is encouraged while listening to the meditation.
A Mudra is an ancient sacred hand position that dates back thousands of years. They are like an ancient language.
Mudras set up resonance with our subtle energy bodies (other frequencies and dimensions that we live in, that surround us) and higher frequencies.
This Mudra helps you understand and embody breakthrough – it helps energy move through your system. It helps you integrate and move through chaotic energies and shift states.
It can really help you at any time you feel something moving inside you, you can do it any time, any where.
You can do this Mudra on its own, without the meditation, and it brings back the effects of the above meditation and brings back the softness that helps us move through life’s difficulties.
**The secret of mudras is repetition.
Chain-link thumbs and forefingers through each other in figure-of-eight and clasp the others around them.

Directions:
Use this meditation any time you feel something is moving through you, perhaps you are feeling a little bit chaotic, uncertain, nervous, anxious, overwhelmed, or confused.
This is a great meditation because it allows you to recognize those uncomfortable states as transformational states, that if we give them the space, can move through us and turn into something more beautiful.
Or you may just need some comfort. This is about feeling into our own discomfort, moving a bit deeper into self-acceptance to explore a little bit of shadow – those darker parts of our nature – but not in an intense way, just gently opening. So instead of flinching when we are uncomfortable, we start to soften.
When we start to soften and yield, then the transformation quickens inside us – it moves through more smoothly – and then we come out the other side.
